Years ago on Bid TV Peter Simon was selling fashion. The clothes were plain tops and trousers, shiny fabric and stretchy with an elastic waist, in various colours. The type sold cheaply on market stalls, including my local market in Kilburn Square. Can't remember how much they were selling them for although would have been way more than the market stalls. But Peter was gushing about how they were bringing the customer 'designer clothes', how exclusive they were and how lucky the customer was to be offered the chance to buy them!

In the same era they were selling an argan oil conditioner for £20 (it's a really good product, I use it). But I buy it in Poundland for a £1, the exact same product.
