Is the bottom one similar to Kate Midd's engagement ring?

I know zero decent info re jewels & need by 'aunties' to help. I've never bought any from Q as I always thought it was shite. I understand from you that it actually used to be good, but is now shite, but some of you buy for whichever reaseon. I know eek is fake. Is it convincing, & how is the quality? Does everything fall off it? Experiences please? xx

I have a friend who does know & has seriously massive rocks kept in a safe, but as she is such a non snob she always says 'buy it if you like it' She also has no experience of **** jewels - hence her attitude?

Probably why it is platinum plated, not gold plated, and many people still think that platinum is the more expensive metal.

I've bought quite a few Eek bits and pieces and it can be hit or miss. Go for the ones that look quite substantially made in the close-up videos and read the reviews. Some of the gold Eek rings are very thin - you can see where the inside of the band has been chanelled out. There's a gold Tova solitaire that's been on today that you can clearly see this.

Almost all the silver rings and earrings I have are good and a LOT cheaper than similar designs I've seen in department stores. I had one stone fall out of a pendant which Q replaced. It was a large pear with only three claws holding it. I won't make that mistake again. I also bought some earrings where the reviews were not good but looked good on screen. The reviews were right and they went back!

If you want to learn about jewelry and don't have a fantastic local jeweller like I had try Pricescope.com. Lots of info on stones there.

I love my EEEK some of it I have worn since day one never take them off...its my favourite brand from QVC ...I have solid gold and plated stuff
