Any hat reduces my hair to a flat sweaty helmet these days. Once upon a time I really was a hat person. Now I can't see them and not feel dread. A hood and ear muffs are my go-to in really cold weather nowadays.

I don't think I've ever seen anything more basic! I don't even think Primark would bother stocking something so mundane. It really is the sort of thing you might grab in Home Bargains or Savers for £2 or £3 if you got caught out on a really cold day, wore for the rest of the day and then binned it when you got indoors! Nearly £30? On yer bike Kim!!!
