M.M reminds me somewhat of that Cheeky Cockney sparra epitomised by Charles Dickens -The Artful Dodger.Only differences are The AD was a young lad,he didn't flog c***on a rapidly south bound shopping channel and as far as the books imply he had hair.

I might have to disagree there, I think that the artful dodger was a victim of circumstance and had more honour than our Mikey. He simply reminds me of a barra boy, but to be fair to barra boys they're actually trying to make an honest living. He reminds me of one of these people you see being shown on watchdog type programmes selling fake goods and cheap plastic tat out of a suitcase or the back of a van, then scarpering as soon as he's made enough dough for the day! "Cam on laydeez and Gentz grab four bottles of designer perfume for twenty quid...chanel, Gucci all big names" Only difference is, I'd say is that as crap as some of IW's goods are they're not fake, and what he's doing is legal - though some of the p&p charges they slap on should be outlawed!

LITTLE GOLLUM is on at 10.00pm, he'll be shilling a Telescope. I'm sure he'll reminisce of his childhood days that he often spent Stargazing with his Telescope.

For once I'd be inclined to believe him, I'd guess Stargazing to be quite a solitary pastime :mysmilie_59:

Jeez how big an ego does moira c have?

Paul becque who is not shy cant get a word in and she is ignoring his questions and direction.

Might as well get her to do the show on her own to save costs.

I suppose 3 for 25 delivered is not a bad price. ESPECIALLY compared to the qvc pick of the day last week acrylic scarves for 40 quid! For one they had someone from bid on as the guest but I couldn't place her name

The Pifco Cordless Vacuum and Window Vacuum Bundle seems like a very good deal at £90.00 delivered.

That's not something you can say too often about Ideal World these days :mysmilie_59:

Strange this

Ideal always seem to be very competitive in vacuums even with bigger brands like vax and bissel.

These products are well established available in multiple places and don't need the exposure.

I can only imagine ideal don't make a massive amount from these and use them more as a product to get people to buy a trusted product and introduce them to the channel?

Sadly they are rarely the best price on anything else

Really like Roger and the teeter

Very honest quite often telling us their are cheaper versions out there but his is better built (amazon and other reviews support this)

Something different (have seen it before but not a whole show)

An enjoyable and informative show not something you can say very often

Indeed, Vacuums were one of the few branded items that were generally very competitively priced although in fairness they sell very few branded items that can be accurately price checked so maybe they kind of shined.

It looks like QVC are now with Bissell so that brand has gone but they still seem to do Vax and Hoover and occasionally Dirt Devil and the odd Bosch. They were selling a seemingly older model AEG Cordless Vacuum the other day that is poorly reviewed and was also poorly priced too.

Sadly their merchandise is mostly low end yet very expensive filler now, it's hard to see how they'll survive with such an array of often genuinely extortionately priced mediocrity :mysmilie_59:

Shocked!!!
I thought that the Mathey tosspot edmund watch was limited stock last week and it was the last Kevinski and Igor could get considering it is limited to 130 world wide, so now it is still for sale???
Am I missing something here or are we still being lied to!!!!!!!!!

They are also selling an out-dated Gtech Air Ram and the 5 in 1 garden tool, both no longer available from Gtech and only £20 below new model prices.

Kevinski is shilling a £219.99 Mankey-Tosspot Ladies Quartz Watch which genuinely looks like something you might expect to see in H Samuel or Argos for £50 tops.

And he's still shilling that hideous 'Edmund' watch for an utterly preposterous £1150.00 that is supposedly limited to 130 pieces worldwide, Alberto is still getting a mention. Nanty reckons they've been showing this watch 'on selected shows over the last few weeks'. They've been telling this story since Summer!

Talk about having a ringer product to help get shut of multiples of the rest of the cheapo crap of the same brand name.

They're so predictable :mysmilie_15:

The 'Edmund ' is a real hoot !!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin has gone from telling the viewers that , in his very strong opinion , it will increase in value immediately after the show to being an item you are ' unlikely to lose money on'.
It is the watch that nobody wants - the manufacturer also says only 130 made so they obviously just can't get rid of them . Week after desperate week on Ideal World , ridiculous stories about Alberto cleverly stockpiling the movement.
It's just a tasteless overpriced mediocrity with a discontinued movement.
What happened to all the 'very serious collectors' Kevin told us were clamouring for it ?

OOppps I got vostok and Mankey-Tosspot mixed up in all the excitement of the Edmund watch.

I have a feeling that the 130 was only limited Ideal World customers.

it's the last of the Edmund stock tonight, but good old Kev still has another handful of them in his office, It just never ends,

The movement isn't discontinued, it's simply that ETA is now only supplying it to manufacturers within the Swatch group. Mathey Tissot is not one of them. I have the same movement in a Certina DS Action Diver which I bought brand new for £450, so telling people that it's only available in Watches costing £3000 to £4000 is pure BS!!!!

Dennice keeps mentioning "interest free credit flexi payments"on the soup maker that helps you lose weight,so now you make a mars bar soup to helpaid slimming.

Is it Flexi payments or is it a credit agreement.???

No, Flexipay is not a credit agreement. Flexipay is nothing more than a continuous payment authority on a nominated debit or credit card to pay for an item in installments with no administration charge for doing so, much like a magazine subscription.

Nobody is issued with a Credit Agreement when making a Flexipay purchase because Flexipay isn't 'credit'. In my opinion it is a way of shilling often overpriced tatt to people who often have no access to 'credit' which perhaps makes them more inclined to buy overpriced tatt. Without Flexipay Ideal World would surely go bust (which by the look of it maybe it will soon enough anyway). It's arguably lower end than those awful PayDay loans which are at least real 'credit'

There is no suggestion on their website that Ideal World are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority to offer 'credit'.

In summary Flexipay is no more 'credit' than a loan shark loan is :mysmilie_59:

Wirral I was having a go at the presenters, as they keep mentioning interest free credit flexi as if you use your own credit card surely you will incur interest unless you have a 0% purchase rate.

It makes my blood boil when there are so many lies and bullshyte told by these lowlife shysters just to make a sale (not from me though)!!!!!!!!!!!

The answer to your question is that they had a course of treatment, and are now cured!
