The naffest thing ever!

This is a character from The Nutcracker ballet (an actual nut cracker in the story!).

Thanks for the info, I had no idea.

But what a misleading item description, especially coming up to Christmas, where I could do with a gadgety nutcracker!

It is still extremely naff though, and the fact that it doesn't even crack nuts makes it even worse.

They had these in BM last year for £7.99 and yes I've got agree, I'd be definitely sleeping with one eye open if that thing was in the room.

I dislike anything like this that moves, gives me the heebie jeebies!!!

Eeek! It is like something you'd see in a 1970s horror film set in a murderous toymaker's workshop. I would be more worried seeing someone coming towards me dressed like this than dressed as a clown!

I was going to put a photo up.

In the olden days of QVC, you used to be able to copy and save photos, which I always did when I ordered anything.

Now, if you click on the photo (on a PC) it just gets bigger, and there is no save function.

The more Christmas shows I see...the naffer the gifts get. I have yet to see something I would want/ or want to give to anyone. (oh sorry gift to anyone) lol

Yes Q is a sea of naff ness at the moment. I don't think the nutcracker is the worst .I recall seeing a pair of Christmas foxes which looked like white cats with the eyes gouged out .A couple of weeks ago. I'm useless at posting pictures but I remember thinking who on earth would want these sitting watching them.

Bluebird and Bramble they are called.

Oh yes, I completely agree.

Here's something else that they sold, which is also naff (look away now Andi K, Shopaholic and Tarketta):

I remember posting that these are the stuff of nightmares - hideously poorly painted... how to turn a children's favourite into a horror movie-worthy cast of ghouls.

These are totally creepy... as well as ludicrously sentimental. The only thing these would be greeted with by me would be the charity bag to get them straight out the house... (cruel, I know, to gift nightmares to someone else... but as they say: "one person's tat is another person's treasure").
