I have been very interested in the Echo Auto too, as I ****** love my Echo things in the home. The Auto is still in my Amazon wish list and I see it‘s down from £50 to £40 at the moment. There’s quite a good description of what it does on the site. The user reviews are also very helpful - overall, they are actually quite good now but in the early days they were not great so I’ve hesitated. I’m still not sure about it so need to go through it all again, decide which features I’d be buying it for and read reviews to see if those are the things that work well!

There is an Echo Auto in the Amazon summer sale at the moment. It’s £39.99, reduced from £49.99, so if this is the TSV it will be interesting to see QVC’s price.

From reading the reviews though, some people were saying that it wasn’t compatible with their car and that it has to be plugged into the cigarette charger and mounted in the car’s air vents. In the description, they advise checking that the Echo Auto is compatible with your car, the air vents and your phone.

It sounds too much of a faff to me, so I’ll stick to my iPod, the radio and CDs when driving.
