When did Christmas extended mbg start?

I have something I bought in October... needs to go back.

I rang about this last week and was told anything bought from 7/10.

ETA: You're probably best off ringing, though, as I have been known to be wrong - on quite a few occasions lately (I'm told it's my age!).

I was told by CS that it was purchases made after 3rd October, now how does that surprise me that someone else was told a different date? Left hand not aware what right hand is doing, best to phone and see what date it is as you may get another date too!

I've just phoned and was told the the extended return date began on 7th October.
