    Australian Bodycare TSV 16/4/24

I loved the smell of petrol until I had a Saturday job pumping it. Getting soaked with petrol blow-back (pre click-off days) and having to smell it all day soon put me off! Though I do admit to sniffing newly tarred lamp-posts on hot days as a kid. Paint and diesel? You're on your own. I've...

Thanks for this. I was wondering how it would come through. I was hoping to hear it was quite fragrant but not surprised to learn it isn't. I have the citrus and can smell it clearly. The lavender, although it goes well with the tea tree, was limp enough I had to add lavender oil as mentioned...

This could be a long one!!!

I understand that items are given the MBG so that people can try items to their heart's content but if something very obviously doesn't fit or if I hate it as soon as it's tried on I return immediately. I've heard of people who wear things around the house even though they know they're going...

I'm not sure tbh. I bought it when I was still going out before Covid. I've used it in L'Occitane lavender hand wash, too. I get a bit annoyed when I try a scented product that's wishy-washy almost scentless. It must have been Boots, H&B, Superdrug - one of the common High Street shops. It...

You could try adding some lavender oil to drown it out a bit. Mine didn't smell of lavender enough for me so I tried that and made it smell so much nicer. I don't mind the original. The tea tree scent doesn't linger at all.

    Dr Esho TSV 21/7/22

Not when it comes to medical professionals. He was offering a cosmetic procedure in return for sexual favours. That crosses a professional line that shouldn't be crossed by doctors. The balance of power almost always tips in favour of men. Rich men, men in education, law and medicine even more...

On a more serious note, where are the bosses? They should be made to watch some of these cringeworthy presentations. It must affect sales surely. Lazy styling at its very best. I also get the impression that they've hired youngsters who have contempt for the clothes they're "styling" and the...

Help needed to unhear "you're loving this"

I would pay good money to see that. There's a time and a place for smut. She's a QVC presenter not on the Benny Hill Show. She's too old to behave like a hysterical teen and I'm too old and too ugly to listen to her crap.

I think your boss/manager is taking the piss. I worked as admin in the NHS for a few years before re-training. I wasn't one for just sitting around and also wanted to get more of an idea of what I was re-training for. I started preparing the medical reports as well as reception duties. I...

    Kipling TSV 26/3/24

Well, there are a lot of shallow and not very bright people out there so I'd say yes. The TSV is a useful bag, though. I have one similar but can't remember the name. It's almost identical except for the front flap bit. Good size, lots of organisation.

    Unfunny comedians

Merryone and Patsy, thank you for your supportive posts. We did look into it but naming and shaming, unfortunately, would have brought a lot of hate down on my DD and DGD. Their names would have leaked out down the line somewhere. Patsy - my parents were the same. If I complained they'd ask me...

Mr AE is used to the crude and embarrassing woman - he lives with one. It was a bit of an eye-opener for him when I moved in as he'd never lived with a woman. Now he just mutters that he's relieved we have two toilets in the house. I've never had a problem "educating" males in the finer points...
