The rich and famous aren't collecting these stones which aren't sold by the respected jewellers - only available on shopping telly - for a reason - they're not sought after and not valuable. I was watching a programme about very high end pawn brokers yesterday. Obviously they have their fingers on the pulse of what is desirable (in terms of luxury goods) and what isn't. One of them in particular specialises in jewellery and watches - diamond rings with a second hand value of £30,000...

It must be frustrating to be expected to keep a mobile phone purely for verification purposes. It's surprising that banks haven't found a way to deal with this for deaf customers - and equally, very elderly people like my M-I-L who has never got her head around mobile phones!

How bizarre! Modal has been around since the 50's. I wish I were surprised though - Gems seems to allow it's presenters to obfuscate and downright lie at will!
