Do you want a QVC forum open to all opinions?

Well of course everyone has the right to post their opinion. But if someone has started a thread on a specific topic such as appreciation, why not stick to that? I don't expect everyone to agree or to say that QVC is faultless, but I do expect a bit of respect for the OP. Not every topic has...

So does annyone know what the crypt-keepers..err sorry Joan River's TSV is tonight?

Another one here that watches Joan for the entertainment value - she does make me laugh! But no, I don't buy any of it either! Not that I need the glasses - I can see the menu in a restaurant (often the only one in my group that can ...) my problem is that I can't see the specials board across...

    Fashion buyer vacancy at QVC!

Hmm, the fact that the ad emphasises the need to and that fashion product knowledge is optional explains so much. :taphead: They can't spell 'competitive' either!

    Tignanell TSV tomorrow

Hmm, that's what my friend calls the 'Princess Margaret look' when I do it

After missing the last few shows she did - but reading about them here - I'm watching her wig!

    first QVC purchase

Not sure, but I think it was either Decleor Neroli oil, or hair straighteners (still using!).

At Home !! Kim & Co August 21st

Don't say things like that - you think it, and they will come ... Look on the bright side - you could wear something during the day, change into your nightwear and climb into bed, all in the same pattern for a whole 24 hours. Can't believe there is someone else on here that remembers...

It takes 1000 beauty products ...

And the person who said that served time in jail, didn't she :bandit:

    QVC on Twitter

There are lists of (genuine!) 'celebs' that twitter - Stephen Fry is brilliant! And yes, he does look like James May in his current photo! I don't post much either, but Phill Jupitus, Alan Davies and Stephen Fry post enough for all of us. Here is a link to the 50 most followed on Twitter - SF...

AY's new haircut 'to be revealed'

I was just reading this thread, and risked waking my tetchy tot to see the haircut - it looks lovely. Alison, that really suits you, I hope you keep it that way.

    Picking Orders

I did pluck up the courage to ask DH about the high bays - they are 6 metres high. He also started to mumble something about the narrow aisles :11: so I assume that the warehouse is choc-a-block with items that require shifting with special, narrow-but-high-reaching fork lift trucks.

    Picking Orders

Yep, that's an engineer all right. I will ask him about the QVC warehouse when he's home at the weekend. He's told me that he's bought me some nice bottles of Pinot Grigio (he also told me how many were in the box and the total cost, the cost per bottle, you can see the problem I have here...

    Picking Orders

I haven't been able to bring myself to ask him about the high racks. He might tell me, and I think your assumption is right. He's an engineer, so I'd get far more detail from him than was either necessary or useful. If I'm feel brave at the weekend after a few glasses of happy water I might...

    Picking Orders

You made me cry with laughter! And you have obviously worked with fork-lift truck drivers before! My husband was given a project years ago on 'logistics'. That's the gobblegook term for storage. He toured the QVC warehouse and even now, when we drive past, he murmurs in an admiring voice...

Yankee Candles - I need your help!

I wish my toddler's nappies smelt of Yankee Candles baby powder - I love the candle but her nappies are definitely different! You must have been blessed with lovely nappies!
