I got a Mobilelite as demoed on QVC but bought from Amazon cheaper and no pp. This effectively allows extra memory on an ipad, I have 64gb extra using this, it connects using its own wifi, so you don't need your own. You could use it up a mountain to watch a video if you wanted to.

Sounds good, I just had a look at it. I'm not sure I understand what I'd do with it though to be honest! One of the reviews was talking about how good it was for watching films on the go to stream to more than one device (ie for kids on a plane) which sounds good in theory but I wouldn't know how to get films onto a memory stick in the first place!

It takes a memory stick in its USB socket, and an sd card in its card reader. I use 32gb ones. Then you can fill these with videos, music, pics etc and see them on the ipad. But the ipad will only play very few video formats, typical Apple ploy to try and force you to buy them from iTunes
