I wish QVC would move away from 3/4 sleeves - looking at the pictures of these tops they look as though they started life as a longer tunic with full length sleeves that have been shrunk in the wash (or that the models had a growth spurt). Just do a proper tunic length 28+" and long sleeves, or a proper T shirt with short sleeves! I never bothered about the look of my arms until I watched QVC and was told this was a thing and if you don't like your elbows (that's another QVC revelation), no one looks at elbows, do they?

I don't mind three quarter sleeves on tee shirts but I like some stretch so they look neat and can be pushed up and don't just hang at half mast.
I don't like the fashion for three quarter sleeves on jumpers though. They are just draughty and almost impossible to put a cardi over without looking lumpy.

I couldn't help noticing Jill's elbows during the Molton Brown Show last night as she slathered on some body lotion.

Don't mind 3 quarter sleeves on tops but also like them to be neat.I never worry about my elbows and I don't think many people do,it's another sales pitch.

What I do have a problem with are the 3 quarter sleeves on coats. I cannot see the point, they are draughty and you have to have long sleeves hanging down in the winter ,or freeze.Manys the time I have found a good coat or longline jacket ,only to realise the sleeves are short.Probably a good idea on the catwalk or for people who never have to get out of a car but not for me on public transport.

They may well protest they are inspired by 1950's and 1960's coats - but when you look back - many of these were geared towards women wearing long gloves - so no draughtiness!

I've got one 3/4 sleeve jacket - but it's only for summer wear.

I like the new look of elbow length sleeves, I think they look elegant. Long enough to cover the flabby upper arms, but not untidy enough to be 3/4 sleeves which are rubbish for getting on with a coat. Short, sleeveless, cap or angel sleeves are fine for young or toned upper arms, but a disaster for bingo wings. Since discovering shrugs or popcorn cardis I now wear sleeveless for the first time in my life !!

Not interested in these,I may be getting old but those prints ,no.......

I don't have young arms but I am lucky they have stayed slimmish probably because I worked out in my youth .I do use body blade .but not as often as I would like.Im still conscious of baring arms so tend to go for a sleeve unless its boiling hot, used to love capped sleeve but these days they feel abit too girlish for my age .Its funny,in my head I'm still 18. !

The last Artscapes tops I had stretched out of shape and the sequins started to come off so I'm not interested, even if I did like the designs on them. There's a limited place for 3/4 sleeves, but not on a coat. I also prefer long or short sleeves. You can always push up long sleeves to 3/4 length.

They are not value for money. Mine went out of shape as soon as I washed them. Wouldn't purchase again.

Do all the presenters have to always make a selling point of hot flushes and grandchildren? I'm not at that stage yet and they make me feel I am prematurely ageing myself shopping at Q and need to go back to shopping elsewhere and come back in a few years.

Speaking as someone who does have hot flushes , I agree I don't want to constantly be reminded of the fact.I am trying to age gracefully and don't need to be told what type of clothing ,bed linen etc is good for me. I wouldn't buy the TSV just because they are made of cotton. They are not very nice looking and my fashion sense hasn't gone out of the window just because I get flushes!

I don't understand why they're selling 3/4 sleeves in June. I know TSVs are decided months in advance, and they didn't know there'd be a heatwave, but surely a pack of short sleeve T-shirts would have been more appropriate?

As for what Debbie was wearing ... a short, flippy skirt (which looked awful), black tights and knee length boots. What?????? I thought I must have slept through summer and woke up in autumn!

Totally agree that for a summer TSV, it's bizarre that they're doing 3/4 sleeves.

Debbie's fashion sense is even more wayward than Ali Young's.

I thought Debbie looked a real mess for the TSV launch, i can't imagine anyone seeing her and deciding to buy it.

I'd never wear anything with a tiger's head on it, like the black top on offer today, but I kinda liked the blue & white set?
Maybe it's time they put me in a home...
