I prefer to donate directly rather than have a bit of tat to lie in a drawer rusting, plus postage which goes into Q's coffers.

Even if you just donated the postage it would be as much as Q passes on.

All QVC had to do was donate £1 million a year, which is literally a drop in the ocean to them and they'd probably able to claim it as a tax break anyway, then they'd have raised £17 million, but nooooo, where's the big fat pat on the back/self promotion in that? So they obviously do it for praise and publicity, and let's face it, £5 million for seventeen years worth of QVC promotion isn't too shabby eh?
