Flip!! The one with the foot is decidedly odd. I do like mercury glass though. It can be stunning. Haven't bought any from LaQ though.

There is a lot of mercury glass available on the high street... and I'm sure some of it is as much of an eyesore as the larger of these two pieces looks (it might be lovely in the flesh, and let down badly by QVC's photography). But at least you can see them in the flesh and get a better idea of whether you'd want to give them house room or not.
