TKMaxx usually have Radley. The bigger ones around £99 and med/small £60+. There are good savings compared to the RRP. And sign up to Radley and their sales are excellent. You get free shipping as well.

I bought my medium purse last year there, I think it was £19.99? Under £25 for sure.

I keep looking at their website when they have price reductions. All my Radley purchases have been bought this way except a Radley purse TSV a couple of years ago which I use all the time.

Loads of Radley bags on eBay and in charity shops.

Saturday I bought a medium Radley leather shoulder bag, excellent condition £8.00 in a hospice shop.

got the Radley Pockets bag in black leather love it!

I`m really fancying the large Poppy bag from The Cambridge Satchel Company. All made here in the UK and they look as if they would last a lifetime. Sadly I just can`t justify the £175 because I`m retired and when I leave the house it tends to be walking the dog or visiting the supermarket or seeing family. We do go out for dinner every week but nowhere 5 star or posh and holidays haven`t been on the cards recently and probably won`t be until next year at the earliest. Anyway here`s the object of my desires but I am resolved not to weaken.

Oh wow! Now that is truly stunning! Especially in that colour which is very much my bag (no pun intended!)...

I can’t afford or justify that price either but it is beautiful and I don’t feel anything about the bags Ive seen on QVC..

I actually know Julie Deane who started the Cam satchel Co a bit. She’s a very savvy woman!

I love some of their tan satchels and handbags too. The leather is so thick....
Sigh!

Ooh really like this the Emily tote in the tan for work type wear too... Sadly it’s £275!

Stunning and we know they will last a lifetime but I`m being very good. Maybe just maybe if my sons will give me money instead of gifts for Christmas then I`d not feel so bad putting the rest of the money towards the Poppy bag. I get my fix just browsing it now and again and still can`t justify buying it, its a case of wanting it not needing it and to be honest I`m at that stage of life where there is actually nothing I need.

I was past the Cambridge Satchel shop last week and although I do like the styles I know I would not find them easy to use in wear.My best Radley is a tote style in fabric which is quilted.Full length top zip, size that can carry a bit of shopping, well a bottle of wine, light in weight and handles long enough to go over the shoulder.I bought another ( discounted) for a smarter style with a chain handle which is very heavy, ( handle not bag).I have other bags which are too big, too heavy and cannot find anything as they are like delving into a bottomless pit.

My everyday bag is a Mia Tui. It was cheap in their sale and I don`t use expensive bags as a daily go to. Mine get battered and I use them til they begin to fall apart or look worse for wear and then bin it. That`s one of the reasons I won`t buy the Poppy bag, it wouldn`t see daylight very often, too good and too expensive for daily use and it would be sad to have it in the wardrobe and not being admired by me. When I was working and did more socialising it would have had more use and I would use a good bag to take to work with me but all that has gone now I`m retired.

Those bags are lovely but impractical because when I look at them I just see how little hands could easily slip down the sides and remove things I don't want removed. I'll stick with my ebay Kipling zipped bag where the fob means I know where my keys are, and if someone wants my purse they have to unzip and rummage.
