Can anyone explain Spanx sizes?

The sizes for the pants as off the Debenhams website is A 8-10; B 10-12; C12-14; D 14-16 and E 16-18. They don't have the vests for sale on here so I can't help ther.

They are the relaxed measurements, ie before the material is stretched when worn, really don't understand why they give those measurements as they don't make any sense and you can't work our your size from it!

I am a size 16-18 and I bought the cami last year in size E which is XL? and mine fits lovely. Doesn't pull you in quite as much as they lead you to believe though but it does smooth out y'lumps and bumps.
