    Eternal by Diamonique TSV

I don't think it looks cheap even though it is nice and affordable. They can do much more interesting stone settings with steel because it's so much stronger than gold or silver, and it's cheap enough to use enough metal for those designs, like genuine tension setting, which I've only seen them...

    Eternal by Diamonique TSV

Eternal stuff is generally really nicely designed - modern and designer looking - and very well made. It also keeps its polish really well. I've had no problems with items discolouring or skin reactions. I have noticed that the gold/rose tint is wearing slightly on sharp edges of eg. bezels, but...

Very happy with Glenn Lehrer ring

I'm so glad you liked your pendant, Mathilda - it sounds fantastic, and I'd love to see photos! I bet the combination of green amethyst and blue diamond is fabulous. Having read Meshoo's posts and seen the pictures, I wondered if I'd missed the 'wonky bottom' problem, but I'm pleased to say...

QVC's most over used phrases and words ..

"...add a pop of colour" irritates me. It seems to be used for anything that has any colour at all.

Very happy with Glenn Lehrer ring

I have just received my Glenn Lehrer honey citrine, cognac diamond and white diamond pendant. It's quite spectacular - can't wait to see it in the sunshine. Oh - and I got two authenticity cards signed by Glenn Lehrer - bonus!

    Pretty pearls

They're not perfectly matched - one has a ring round it, the other has a little ..err.. nipple, but I think for the price they're amazingly good. Thanks to all for the kind comments :)

    Pretty pearls

I've been pondering TJC's tahitian pearls for some time. I love tahitian pearls, I love Iliana stuff, I cannot afford Iliana, TJC do tahitian pearls in silver - but they can't be any good, can they? Anyway, I went ahead on one of the free P&P days and bought some tahitian pearl earrings. £17.95...

    New Jewellery lines

I have one of the Eternal diamoneek rings, and it is lovely. http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.675195/walk.yah.UKJE~UKB3~UKMC What with money being tight and gold prices being what they are, I would rather have something like this, really solid and well made...

That weird mineral brand beauty TSV, where did it go?

I got hornswoggled into buying some of this stuff by a girl in one of those little concession stalls in a shopping centre. I did like (and still do like) the powder/foundation, and liked the lip gloss she mixed up especially for me. The blusher though I never use. It was all terrifically...

    Woo Hoo! Look look look!

RubyRose - thanks for your very full answer, and thanks too to Meshoo for her great knowledge. I'm very interested in the idea of palladium. I was looking at precious metal prices on Cooksons' website, and it is so much cheaper per gram than platinum and gold - and if it is less dense you'd...

    Clogau Gold TSV

Hi all When Clogau say an item has 'a touch' of Welsh gold how much is that? Is 'touch' a new unit of measuring gold weights perchance? :D

    Woo Hoo! Look look look!

rubyrose, that is just beautiful. I love the setting - it looks very substantial. The brushed effect on the palladium is gorgeous - never seen anything quite like that before. VERY jealous! What's palladium like to wear? That band looks so substantial - but is it lighter than gold or platinum...

Colourless PT and Diamond Necklace "one collection"

What I've noticed with quite a few Rocks & Co. designs is that they achieve a high carat weight through a multitude of 6x4 oval cut stones*. You have to work hard to come up with such preposterous stuff using 100s of identical gems. (*Gems TV do the same, but with a load of 1mm stones :D )

    This Weekend at TJC

I do get bored of the interminable tanzanite. I think it must be on about 80% of the time I switch to TJC. Some of it is heart stoppingly beautiful, but I certainly can't afford the really good stuff. Wish I could of course...

    Happy delivery

Thank you all. I'm still wearing it and loving it. The length is 7 3/4", nearly 8", so fairly big. It drapes nicely on my wrist (but I'm not dainty by any means!) The jewellery course will be very good, I think. The chap teaching it is a regalia jeweller, so makes MBEs and OBEs and mayoral...
