I still have one of the blue dish Zilos on my kitchen window sill

The cats will drink from it with days old water rather than the fresh and clean bowl they get once or twice daily

In QVC speak that would prove the Zilo is healthier for cats. In common sense it just means the chlorine has had time to evaporate off and the water smells/tastes better. Which also explains why the cats head straight for my filtered water as soon as I take my eyes off the glass

The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence or something like that

You would have to use your nachine for a month or so WITHOUT IT to see if it started smelling, then, WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING ELSE, put it back in again to see if the smell goes away.

No need Strato. I've been using the dishwasher for 18 months and it pongs. As soon as I put the zilo in it stopped ponging. Undeniable proof that the extra special alloy in Zilos does indeed remove smells. I'm very happy.

I always recommend a good cup of bleach for the dishwasher and a hot cycle

You'll have a clean kitchen too as it foams out of every crack in the door

(Don't try this at home unless really bored)

Dishwashing machines are totally unnecessary.
