Ban those crappy perfumes
Let's all hope the new management have learned some lessons about how bad some presenters still are! Dee Dee's comments about the handover from Barrow boy MM was uncalled for. He was unpleasant in the recent past with his similar comments to Sally Jaxx. I am sure management have his card marked as well as the audience at home and on this forum. If you can't be more of a pro Mike - go back to being an electrician that you keep banging on abaaaaat. Laaaarvly.

MM probably thinks his barrow boy attitude will cover up his comments word in your shellike MM it don't! To speak way he does to female presenters is despicable

Yes, his attitude towards the female presenters is appalling and hardly professional. He may get away with that sort of chauvinism in Basildon Msrket but not on television in front of three hundred people.

MM is an uncouth, inarticulate, disrespectful oik!
Or......he wants to create an impression that he's a 'man's man' and women should know their place around him
Or......he's completely deluded and actually believes that he's a hard man that nobody would challenge or argue with (I refer to a comment he made which was something like 'looking like I do, I should be on the doors outside a nightclub or summink'
Sorry Mike, the truth is, I think, you're probably an inadequate little runt who has no idea what manners or social skills are
I don't want to upset any MM fans out there, these comments are expressedly the author's opinion based on observations made

Poor Gollum, the poor man dosen't seem to realise that he's making himself unemployable on TV which from his point of view probably isn't the most prudent of behaviour.

But from my point of view I hope it continues, I don't see an orderly queue forming to hire him when they go bust.

wow Greg, do you really think that many people watch him??!! :mysmilie_14:

I was a civil servant who was made redundant in 2011. As jobs are being reduced the staff who are left are often having to "apply for their own jobs" if they wish to stay employed. (I didn't have a choice - my job/position was going and I wasn't able to apply for similar graded jobs). This policy of applying for their own jobs clearly doesn't apply to shopping channels, that could be very interesting!

Just as a side move as we are in the "And they are saved" thread. Here is something for the grown ups at Bid/Pricedorop/bestof - blah blah blah or whatever they are called now. On Tuesday I ordered a Brand New 64GB micro SD card (with full size sleeve) and get this people, for £6.95, now here is the kicker - it comes with FREE P&P. It arrived this morning. Not bad, order Tuesday arrive Thursday & free p&p. Yes the card is great. The best "Deal of My Day" was I ordered a Brand New 7" capacitive tablet, all singing all dancing, (No Neil not capactive) for £35.99!!!! Once again the kicker with this item is first class delivery for JUST £1.99! I have never seen a better deal on any TV outlet like these. Estimated delivery Saturday 22nd March. If the p&p and delivery can be matched with other outlets why charge so much for postage? Bid/price drop take note. The items mentioned can be found on Ebay.

Steamy Sue is learning the Sit-Up ropes fast, she just professed that she's going to tell the truth. This picture demonstrates that sneaky look the The Hairy Gollum often does to camera, it makes him look even more shifty than usual.

I should have posted this in the general thread, apologies.

lol that's such a great pic, its like he's getting a message he doesn't like.

I will add one thing that pleasantly surprised me yesterday during Mikes presentation of the gold items, they didn't have the weight of the gold on the screen again..... but Mike did mention it for each item & he even took the items out of the boxes & put it on his wrist so we could gauge its actual size which surprised me as we normally get a zoomed in shot that imo makes the miniscule piece of gold look really weighty. I'm hoping to catch another presenter selling sold gold items & see if they do the same.

I didn't see that Mr M but that's certainly an improvement and a step in the right direction.
I agree that they usually use a very close up shot that makes the item look bigger than it actually is which is a bit misleading IMO.
As I've said before, credit where it's due.

He's always pulling that face and it looks so schnide and schneaky, it did cross my mind that he's being told off.

I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting the zoomed in images of the gold links we normally get..... that makes the ones B. A. Baracus (MrT) wears look miniscule in comparison:

I look forward to Peter Simons efforts for comparison afterall we know how he is with his gold items descriptions lol.

I do agree, its like when a childs done something wrong & they are pondering a way of getting out of trouble.

Shyloc is on selling Vera Wang Lovstruck Pong and said 14 days delivery. Well done BestofBid for not sorting your delivery times out and missing the potentially profitable gifts for Mothers Day on the 30th March. And so it all begins again.:mysmilie_365:

Well Dave I have a confession to make. I did a bit of research today. I rang up and ordered an item! :mysmilie_486:
I know it's a radical thing to do but it was interesting research on a couple of levels:
1 - how long I could potentially have been on the phone
2 - I was told delivery will be within 5 days
