Ordered mine on Sunday and it arrived yesterday, complete with standard UK 3-pin plug. Used it last night to knock up a batch of fairy cakes and am very pleased with it. However, think I will invest in one of those beaters with the silicon edge to the blade, as I did have to scrape down the sides of the bowl a few times to get an even mix.

I thought that was a good deal as it had the 3 year warranty. I thought the same about the edge beater so I bought the Kitchenaid flex beater from Amazon which I received yesterday so I haven't tried it yet only to check that it fits and it does so will be giving it a go the weekend.
