Instagram query

Hello. I am not on Instagram but do like checking out some posts - James Martin, John Bishop (he posts lovely pictures of his rescue animals) and more recently Michael Perry ( I think CC posted he has some good tips, he does, mind you he also posts quite a few pictures without clothes and a few strategically placed shrubs - unfortunately he doesn't do it for me). Anyway this last week I can access the accounts but when I click on a picture for the explanation a box appears asking me to log in or create an account. I usually use my tablet which is a Samsung - this isn't happening when I tried it out on my samsung phone which is strange and annoying - I usually only use my tablet once a day to check the web. Has anyone any ideas why this has suddenly started happening. Thanks very much

I thought this was introduced last autumn so that 'lurkers' could only see a few photos on public profiles.

Thanks Twilight - I think you are right as that was all I could find when I googled query, around last October. Spooky that tablet only just blocked and I can still access via phone. It's not a big deal after all just puzzled me. Keep safe all
