Hmmm interesting, I've just checked mine and it says it was shipped yesterday despite me cancelling the order last saturday. I've had no email from QVC though.

My neighbour had cancelled theirs, they’ve been delivered this morning.
Well my plants arrived today. The petunias werent very far advanced especially when I bought some at the Range in the week and they are in full bloom. Some of the verbenas looked like they had already bloomed and the begonias were quite leggy. The geraniums were fine. Hopefully once they are all planted they will be fine but I dont think I will bother next year

Yes they are great but people have been complaining saying that their's were in an awful condition We are lucky!
QVC are not selling anything special above and beyond the dreaded supermarkets and big box home and garden centres. In fact the supermarkets are getting better selling some wonderful more niche type plants for a couple of pounds garden ready

He was live from Holland (or was it a greenhouse in Ruislip?) the other day. It looked like they had the visual feed powered by a Freeserve dial-up connection, so shaky and blurred was the picture. With their outrageous postage charges you‘d think they would send an entire outside broadcast QVC unit to beam him in on satellite, and not via a Betamax video camera, a reverse charge call and a long ball of string.

The supermarkets are brilliant for plants at this time of year. I’ve been stocking up on clematis from Asda, 3 for £5.I’ve a big garden of nearly two acres that swallows up lots of plants. You really can’t beat that. I’ve bought them other years & found they have done better than ones I’ve previously bought from specialist clematis nurseries for £15 each or more. They’ve had a good selection of varieties too of all the different types, alpines, montanas, All the different Groups I, II & III, some quite rare ones.
I dont mind usual or rare plants even. But even thats a no no. If something is rare its not going to easy to grow and keep for many years.Its rare for a reason. I have a dark dreary little corner border so for now will plant some lilac/pink Busy lizzies to brighten up the dull corner. Eight full size plants for £4.00. They will be F1 hybrids as is usual for practically most bedding plants sold everywhere.

My P2G plants arrived at my work the very day I went away on a long weekend, however, some of the residents very kindly looked after them for me and I have to say the plants were all really healthy and on their way to blooming. I've planted them all up and they are growing on well. There was a lot of plants for the money so I'm pleased with these. A lot better than the last lot I had which were a bit wilted and many died.

These are the same colours Petunias from Morrissons. The look beautiful in my 6 hanging baskets and large window box and two smaller square planters.
