I may be really over-thinking this, but maybe they feel they may shill more merch if they don't advertise that vol au vent (or Genevieve to a lesser extent, given the stereotypical customer base) is married.

Not a good idea for a Goon to mention they’re hooked up with a fellow Goon. Their inevitable tales will soon contradict eachother (then again, would they care?).

Watching the demo of the Energizer phone. The Irish bloke claims that it's £300 under priced!!!!
He also says it uses the latest Android version. (It has Android 7.0)

6 reviews have come in for the Energizer S600. Punters don’t seem bowled over by the Phone and once again the Goons presentation claims are being called into question.

Does anyone remember 'sexy sue' I am sure she was called that. She knew it was ironic to be fair to her.
She was really good as product demonstrators went.
There was a Steamy Sue who was on Ideal World back when it was a proper shopping channel, Bev Bad Hare might have replaced her when she left.
I seem to remember Steamy Sue was on Bid in it’s final days, shilling cheapo Steam Mops.

Only issue i found was charging it took hours upon hours to charge, and the plug that came with it didnt work at all,
Shame its not latest Android version,
And sound when playin music could be better but mehh i love it "
This is a FIVE star review left for the Energizer breeze block by Kyle.
It takes forever to charge,the charger is of no use at all, the operating system is out of date and the speaker is clearly less than impressive.
Who in their right mind would think all of that warrants a five star review and finishes with the line " I would buy another in a heartbeat ".
Possibly the spelling and punctuation is a teeny weeny clue

Well it is what it is a dual SIM smartphone with a heavy duty battery. HOWEVER the live on air description is false and very misleading! The claims of it being the latest 2018 model never been seen before and 32gb is a total LIE AND VERY MISLEADING! This phone was actually made and launched since 2016 A WHOLE 2 YEARS AGO! It is also 16gb NOT 32GB as claimed in air! I think trading standards need to be aware of these false claims, and I just may have to contact them , as I feel I my item LEGALLY has to fit the description which it doesn't.

They throw in a 16gb sd card which is why they claim it is 32gb. It technically is, but only because they have given the card. It doesn't even allow larger cards than that I don't think.
It gets me every time they mention something android go as well, like that is a bonus. It's made for underpowered devices for gods sake!
It does make me laugh though when they mention battery life as it is something no other phone can manage. My Windows phone (which I love) has a maximum standby time of 37 days, over twice what the energizer phone is, and a maximum talk time of 30 hours, again, twice what their phone does.
I can happily have my phone here by my side and with the little use it gets, the battery will easily last a week. In fact when fully charged, it shows 7 days and 18 hours remaining time. So yeah, not quite the amazing thing they claim their phone to be. But hey, we knew that already

When Sally Jaxx (Jacks) was on the watch show last night, she mentioned how strict ASA are with them. She said they are far more strict with IW than any magazine or news paper. Everything they say has to be 100% correct or they would be in trouble.

the newspapers and magazines must get away with actual murder then, if she thinks they are pressured upon.
Reminds me of what she said on Bid , just before the ASA referred Bid tv to Ofcom;

I wonder what tv channel they will all migrate to when IW inevitably goes off the air.
