DD has bought a steam mop with two pads and a carpet glider for £21.70 from Asda direct. That was including the delivery cost. She's really pleased with it.

Amazon has some really well rated steam mops for mid £20 price point. Shopping channels are always trying to flog steam mops at inflated prices on the back of germ phobia (especially the X5). Seems there are a lot of sharks out there.

the X5 is acutally cheaper on QVC than ive seen it for elsewhere

That's expensive for a steam mop, I wouldn't be without mone its so easy and the floor comes up lovely carpet pile is restored and hard floors are really clean and shiny but I didn't pay £90 for it and saw quite a nice looking one with a carpet glider in Asda today for £20

I bought the X5 when it was a tsv a few weeks ago and love it.

I bought the X5 when it was a tsv a few weeks ago and love it.

it looks a good one and when i was down the range the other week they had the green one for £99.99!! (same price as the infomercial) so QVCs price on them is quite reasonable
