I've been waiting for this - but hoping for the mini.
There is nothing like a hands-on massage and Mr. AE does a ****** fantastic job on my feet and legs every night.
However, lucky old me has recently developed restless legs syndrome and I can't ask him to massage my legs the 5 or 6 times I have to get up during the night to try to calm them.
I bought a very basic massage gun for my back and neck a few years ago. I didn't use it that often but it's going to be worn out soon! It's the only thing that works other than pacing for 30 minutes. I'm not steady on my feet and wall-walk around the house. 5 minutes with the gun is a huge improvement but it's really starting to hurt my hand and wrist now.
This looks like it could be helpful but if it's the same as my heavy old one it can go back.

I decided not to go for this as it's a 10mm amplitude. My current one is 12mm but 2lbs in weight, awkward to hold but still got used 7 times between midnight and 7:30am last night. It's killing my wrist and thumb but at least it calms my legs so I can sleep for an hour (if I'm lucky).
The Mini is on offer at John Lewis at the moment so I went for that instead. It's supposed to be quiet (Mr. AE is a bit fed up with being woken by what he says sounds like a pneumatic drill), so that'll be a help.
This RLS lark is miserable enough but it hurt having to stump up more money that I can't really afford for something that would probably be fixed by having an iron infusion - which my GP refuses. Sigh.
