Relevant question. It's virtually impossible to buy anything that doesn't have some element made there, however, I've always done my best to avoid stuff from PRC & it's now my quest. I found out this week that all the new buttons in the world are made there along with 80% of the zips; I had to replace the buttons on a coat & found vintage ones on Etsy & they look wonderful.

They originate from Japan and have manufacturing plants all over the world but what, if any, proportion is China I don’t know.

A company I worked for here in the UK in 1975 dealt with YKK, we've been bringing their products here for a long time.
The initials YKK stand for Yoshida Kōgyō Kabushiki gaisha.

I do like the 3 pink. Sorely tempted as my d/table centre piece has been insitu for so long its practically taken root. So a change would be nice. I think we live so long with our 'bits' in the same place that you almost don't see them anymore. I agree though that 'clutter' is easily achieved.

Years ago I had a 5 candle holder - fine in the size of room that Hoppen designs for, BUT I rarely lit the thing as the heat coming from the candles was like a furnace, and they were only tea lights.
