I haven't been watching Gemporia for a while, since it's been stuck in a neverending Groundhog Day of jade and gold tone "heirloom pieces". Once you've pointed out all the continuing flaws in their presentations, it's a bit difficult to know what to say next if the company keeps making all the same mistakes.

Anyhoo, I did land on the Gemporia tonight while flicking through the channels because I am bored. And it's a hyper Hattie pushing never to be repeated jadeite. Again.

But this time it's in a "liquidation sale" to get cash so the Three Amigos (or Stooges) Slimfast Jake, Jade Sloth and Toby Catweazle can buy loads more gems in China. From traders I guess. So much for "cutting out the middlemen, and buying straight from the source".

So from this I suppose that a) Gemporia is still hard up for available cash, b) the company either still can't shift all their ****** jadeite, or buyers have been returning it to them by the metric tonne, and c) even their never to be bettered opportunities for viewers to buy Gemporia's jadeite over the last 6-8 months can in fact be improved on.

Which again calls into question the quality of the material Gemporia has been trying to dump on its viewers. As has been pointed out on this forum multiple times: if Gemporia's jade is such high "legacy" and "heirloom" quality material, why aren't they selling it to the Chinese market to solve their financial problems? Why are they Insisting on flogging it (in an increasingly desperate manner if Hattie's performance tonight is anything to go by) more and more cheaply by the week to their viewers? I wonder why THAT is 😏

Things really aren't looking very good for the company. At all. Maybe Ideal World won't be the only selly telly company going bust this year.
 
I bought some nice items from destello. Interesting as many have asked her on instagram what is happening regarding destello and she does not respond. Visage seems to be going from strength to strength with regular slots on the schedule.

There seems to be a lot more Primal shows too. I don't watch as often as I used to but it seems to me that every time I do view I'm seeing the same things over and over again - and I don't mean Jade but that it still far too often seen too. They also seem to be doing quite a lot of Lorique pieces on the 'wheel of wonder' of all places. Def looks like they're trying to empty their vaults. I'm reluctant to buy anything now just in case I send it back and no refunds are forthcoming 'cos the company has gone!!!

I am repeating myself about the repeats :) but anyway

Why on earth are a company that possibly is at the very least struggling at 11 pm showing half an hour (all I could muster) and in that
whole period only one item was still available? What does that look like to the new customer flicking around?

If they wanted to try the channel they can't buy what they are buying told is available

If you are trying to cut costs by not being live I get that but if you are consistently showing items the customer can't buy whats the point?

I suspect that Gemporia thinks it's a half-assed way of shutting up critics who may complain that they're leaving lonely and vulnerable people, who used to tune in to the channel for company during the night/very early hours of the morning, high and dry.

Of course it isn't, since viewers have no-one to contact if they feel like it. Never mind not being able to buy much of what gets shown on screen.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if such folks have disappeared to TJC, since they continue to have live shows 24 hours per day.
 
This announcement is yet more BS from Gemporia Towers.

Apparently they want to sell off the Jade to get cash in for the three (un)wise men to buy more gems while they're out in China.

Not sure who's brainwave this idea is - but it's flawed for the following reasons:

1) Even if they were to flog all the Jade tomorrow and have money in the bank, they still wouldn't know how much they have to spend in China because customers have up to 30 days to return their orders, which leads me on to........

2) If they were to spend the cash in the bank from these supposed 'sales' within the next 30 days, and customers decide to return their orders, what happens when the three amigos have spent the money - will there not be enough money to refund customers?

3) Someone, somewhere at Gemporia, decided that this 'announcement' was a good idea. To me, it makes the company look bad and desperate. If they supposedly need to raise money to buy new gems in China, that doesn't make me think "Oh great - Jade in the sale - lets get the wallet out", which is what I suspect they hope customers will think - but to me, it just makes me think "blimey, if they need to raise money to buy more gemstones, they can't be doing very well financially".

In addition to those, they keep telling us that China are screaming out for Jade - they can't get enough of it. WELL WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE IT WITH YOU AND FLOG IT TO THEM INSTEAD OF BORING US TO DEATH WITH IT EVERYDAY!!!

Oh, and have you seen the VT's with Sally Hua and her sidekick, Bernard Wotnot? All spoken in Chinese - with English subtitles underneath. Then they cut to a load of 'the very best quality Jade' with a post-it note stuck on it saying "Only give to Dave Troth" - written in perfect English! So Sally and Bernard can't speak English, but they can write in English? OK then..................... Seems legit.......... Dave and Jake wouldn't have written it themselves and stuck it on. No, of course not, Gemporia are so honest and trustworthy, they'd never do anything like that........

I do wish I had seen it however your post as always makes very interesting reading
 
On July 9th at 9pm, Adina said they had the 'last untreated Jadeite show'.

Since then, they've managed to do an hour of it during their 'announcement' yesterday, followed by another two hours of it later that afternoon.

It was also on the previous day when they made the same 'announcement' - and it's been on again today too.

Plus all the other times in-between.

How many 'last untreated Jadeite' shows is there going to be?

Gemporia could be selling a 2ct flawless diamond for £20.00 and I'd miss it if Jess was presenting because as soon as i see her on the screen I switch channels immediately.

Liquidation sale is just another fairy story that Jake seems to specialise in. Liquidation is a very ill advised choice of words as it immediately suggests company about to fold .... but again that has Jake's name written all over it (not the sharpest knife... ). What struck me was that Kate I think kept referring to last of stock, we have only 3 items left ... that won't take them very far methinks! Just a ruse to somehow 'justify' yet more Jade before they bring the latest container load in 🤣
