I can't understand why theses presenters cannot seek advice from Fashion stylists or perhaps they don't believe they need it.
I last went to Milan a couple of years ago & had forgotten how seriously stylish these Italian women were.That is the test 'would I dress like that in Milan'?Julia & her leggings would be a firm NO NO.This also applies to other presenters not just Julia who despite any other critisisms IMO is the most professional presenter.
Also for what it is worth-- the tweet about the 'eye bags' during that Kipling Hour was well out of order.

the thing is with Julia, imo obviously, she could look absolutely fabulous if she put her mind to it. I know it's difficult, if not impossible, to be objective about yourself, but surely she must realise she looks a bit of a sight sometimes you would think. I've said before, a good haircut, change of make-up (specially the purple eye-shadow), and a different style of dressing, and she'd be a new woman.
