I wore the frills way back but not now.There seems to be trend with many U.K. brands that they grasp a fashion look and hound it to death.I am a fan of M&S who do some great basics at good prices but I class them often in the flogging category.Sometimes I see something I would love only for it to be found in their ’seasons’ colours, for example a lovely coat I saw a couple of months ago which would have rivalled Max Mara had it been in a classic colour, but no, bright yellow!

I went in on Monday to be honest I thought the styles and patterns were awful.
I have been looking for a blouse just in case it ever warms up,nothing. I've ended up with a pretty one from Amazon and it's rayon not polyester.

I actually like this one but as I've said before the sizing is odd for me. I'm a 12 top but going by the measurements I'd need between a 14/16. No way am I a 16 but if I wanted a couple of inches of room around the bust then that's the size I'd need. Then I bet (like many times before), I get it home and it's massive. Saving the money as I'd have postage there and back and then if I REALLY liked it and wanted another size I'd have more postage. They should have free postage and returns on clothes and shoes.

I ended up buying two of these dresses. I am 5’2” curvy size 14. I ordered the size 16 because I know Seasalt comes up a bit small on me. I was worried they would be too long, and the ‘valance’ would look silly, but they are really lovely. They arrived on separate days and both times, when I tried them on, my husband said “wow, you look gorgeous”. That’s the best reaction I’ve ever had from him. I have alot of dresses but these are definitely the best I’ve bought.

I buy a lot of tops and jumpers from this brand.
I like they have now switched over to paper packaging.
More companies should follow their lead.
