For anyone interested Gems are doing occasional games where the price drops to one of the above. This will run today, Wednesday and Thursday. Good luck!

Good for them!! This will generate a lot of interest, not just on here but with the buying public and let's hope a more realistic approach to all pricing will follow. :pPC:

Ok, well now for a bit of a shocker! I wandered onto GTV's website and have placed 4 bids on some web games. Now considering I've not bought for over a year that must be a good thing. One downside though - I'm wary and may just dump the things anway, but then again they are cheapie items, just ones that suddenly took my fancy - we'll see.

I've had a few nice pieces from the web games Debs, and at very low prices. It's always worth keeping an eye on these whatever is happening on the telly.

Sadly PPC, they're going to have to do better than so far, if even the £1-£5 drops have got buyers backing out. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D10%252F10%255F1%255F136%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_136.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D10%252F10_1_136%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

Debs, I'm probably the wrong person to ask as I like great big lumps of stuff and know nothing about diamonds. You'll see what I mean if you look at my latest purchase at £49 awaiting delivery http://www.gemstv.co.uk/Shop/productDataSheet.jsp?productid=UFD4676&menuselection=3&colourScheme=1

However, yours all look very pretty and my personal favourite is the andalusite, and I don't see that you can go wrong with the little pearly piece. I do think £50 might be a little high for the amblygonite though. No doubt others will come along who share your taste and probably know more about diamonds.

Blimmin' eck missus - now thats what I call a rock! a boulder actually! Its a lovely stone though - I've a little 'un and wear it loads.

I've chucked in another couple of bits since my last post - all web games. Out of interest how long do refunds take these days? Its just that there a two pieces I'm not so sure of - I like them, but when I see them irl they may not look as good.

Hi Debsie - you've got some really pretty pieces there. I've never been one for the black diamonds, but that pendant looks lovely.

On returns, I sent some things back around the 24th April that will've arrived on 27th at the latest (I'd have to check) but nothing is showing up yet. :(

Does anyone know if they're accepting web bids on these items? I really can't be bothered to mess around with the 'phone!

As usual, webbers are excluded. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D3%252F3%255F8%255F14%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_8_14.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D3%252F3_8_14%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

Marie do the option 3 thing and place your order that way, much quicker to snatch and you don't have to speak to anyone. :pPC:

I think they're playing mind games with us. Apparently some games are now accepting web orders and the automated thingy is being moody (sometimes it recognises you, sometimes it doesn't). I guess they aren't getting the response they were expecting, and so webbers are being treated as better than nothing.

Wish we had a real alternative, and that I wasn't a sad addict. I go off for a while, but end up returning for variety (though this is faltering now as well).

Well I've just had a little play on the web myself and it seems to be open to us. I'm guessing then that they are keeping the cheapie games down to 2 or less. Times must be hard. Hope I get me refund - lol.
