The Americans' idea of cruelty free is very different from ours. Dozens of brands are on Peta's absurd list that Cruelty Free International don't endorse with the Leaping Bunny.

To qualify for the Leaping Bunny both a company and its supplier companies go through a rigorous audit procedure which ensures that every step of manufacture and all ingredients are completely cruelty free. And the audits are ongoing to ensure nothing changes.

To get on Peta's list all a brand has to do is sign a piece of paper saying they don't test the finished product and don't ask their suppliers to animal test the ingredients. That their suppliers could all be animal testing the ingredients anyway for other customers and that the brand will be fully aware of this and using the ingredients anyway is ignored. They also don't cover animal derived ingredients. In other words Peta's "cruelty free" list isn't worth the paper it's written on. I've been pleased to see that quite a few of the cruelty free bloggers in the US have recently realised this and are taking Peta endorsed brands off their blogs' lists.
 
The lipsticks I own have the leaping bunny and state no animal testing they were made in the USA,however the blushers were made in China and just say cruelty free.:mysmilie_7:

But QVC have dumped CID, confirmed on their Facebook page when asked when it was back on.

Never a fan of the brand

They sell in John Lewis etc. now. I liked some of their products, but I would never pay full price for them, the prices were about right on QVC with the sets of different products.

Me too. Really hope the cc cream is available have been wanting to try that for ages.
Unusual for items to be available two weeks before the launch date though. I know they put items on web first usually a couple of days before but not this far in advance. What if things sell out before they launch on air?!

they did this kinda thing with NIOD as that was launched 3 weeks before on the beauty channel & then on the main beauty weekend at the end of jan & it didnt sell out but i got a feeling they got advanced orders ect lined up
 
Will all items be listed on the 1st or will more be added nearer the day of the show?

As people have been saying the eyebrow pencil is very similar to Ybf so if you are a fan this is the next best thing. The bye bye concealer is ok but no where as good as Laura gellers the real deal concealer.
 
Bit disappointing that things are on waitlist though, why not advanced orders so at least we know when to expect them. I thought that them being on the web from 1st April meant we could buy now and receive not pre order. Also hope this isn't the full line up as would expect at least one face base product be launched.
 
I have pre-ordered the set of three lipsticks. I wonder when they will come? Hopefully before they go live on air. Never heard of this range of make-up before so excited to try it out. Interested in the brow pencil as well, but wish they wouldn't sell them only in duo's. If they had the mascara & a brow pencil as a set I would have ordered.
 
Now do not forget as this has happened many many many times.

If on Waitlist, things come in but you need to phone them up and let them know you are on waitlist. As they have been known to just sell the stock and not look at the waitlist people
 
Just what I was about to say - live sales take priority over waitlist orders so as soon as the item pops up "in stock" ring QVC and ask them to push through your waitlist or just re-order and cancel the original waitlist (which you can do online via your account without having to phone).
