I keep all my photos on on the Apple and Google storage platforms. I‘ve done so for about ten years. Am I missing something - but why doesn’t everybody use those type of photo storage methods nowadays? It seems so straightforward and secure to me?

The same reason I don't use a password manager. Someone, somewhere has access to ALL your passwords for everything. Are all their staff trustworthy, or could they be hacked?

I know I could use the Cloud to store things but I’ve turned off that option on all my tech. I don’t want my things floating about and being accessed by hackers etc.

I've never used it for that very reason. I'll just look round for a large capacity memory stick. At least then I won't have to download stuff from a site that might be nosing around in my files.
