Competition prize

Thought you might like to see my competition prize..it arrived this morning.

It's obsidian and very unusual. On screen it looked quite a flat brown colour, but it's speckled and feels cool against the skin. Not the type of thing I'd normally go for..but I like it!

It looks like a very pretty necklace

Of course the danger of competition prizes is that they can introduce you to a new stone - and if you like it, then it could quite easily turn into the beginning of a new collection................... lol

My prize came too. It's a green amethyst necklace which goes very well with green quartz earrings and a couple of rings I got from QVC.
