Tbh you can get super offers from Elemis direct. Lots of discount codes and ‘freebies’ after spending a certain amount so it works out great across the board.

And reviews are not happy about the flimsy packaging…..
Dont think Elemis got it right this year… so glad I resisted.

They are incredible prices… have you shopped with them before? It’s almost too good to be true..
That seems a good offer! Is this website kosher? Have you used them?
Very mixed reviews online

If they sell over 130,000 to one retailer it makes me wonder about the quality. It’s more like a massive production line, rather than having the feeling of being prestige. Some brands sell smaller quantities and they don’t get as many negative reviews.

I never buy Elemis now, because the items that I tried didn’t suit my skin at all, but logic says that if they keep faffing about with new fragrances, to tempt customers, they may lose sales and gain a lot of returns.

Every year in the UK over 7 million tonnes of food and drink is thrown away, a lot of which has past its 'best before' date, but would still be perfectly good to eat.

We specialise in surplus and short-dated stock, food that is either near or just passed its 'best before' date – allowing us to pass on huge savings to our customers.

I suspect the Elemis stuff will be close to or past the use by date

You can say the same for other brands, Alexis keeps saying that an L'Occitane hand is sold every 3 seconds worldwide.

Benefit state, they sell more of their mascara, so must products thousands a week.

There is a very strict rule on selling beauty products. If there is a problem with quality, they could get sued. There are a number of beauty brands going through court at the moment in the US for via things claims and problems with customers having reactions to said products.

I don’t buy the prestige brands now because I’ve tried most of them and my skin is better using cheaper brands. I’m sure the quality of the pricey ones is very good, but by quality I meant that they’re so busy pumping out hundreds of thousands of a products and adding new fragrances, do they actually read customers’ reviews or notice that the number of returns is going up? Are the new formulations as good as the originals? Probably not.

Irrespective of the brand, I personally think they should concentrate on the original product that made them famous, rather than adding more things to it. Look at Gatineau’s floricil for example. They altered the formulation, for whatever reason, but have now gone back to the original formula.

But unfortunately, that is the way customers are these days. Look at Liz Earle endless different fragrance versions of C&P. Oh, we are not selling enough of the original, bring out a flanker and suddenly people are rushing to buy because they say limited edition. Same thing with perfume, flanker after flanker. All the brands do it well so far Emma Hardie hasn't same cleansing balm since day one no flankers with different the smell. Elemis changed a lot when they were bought over by L'Occitane even quicker rush to bring out new ranges they are turning into Gatineau who seem to do that nearly every month. I use some Elemis but stick with products that have been around for years, sensitive cleansing wash, the toner, PCMC and if I can get it Pro Radiance Cleanser. Otherwise, now I used EH.

When QVC had ranges that weren’t complete sellouts I used to buy a lot.
Now I just cherry pick items rather than buy sets.
The biggest disappointments are the basics , Decleor and Gatineau used to be so good.

Decleor was a fantastic brand back in the day…my friend and I used to go on a day trip to France with our local coach company. There was a lovely pharmacy in the shopping centre at Calais, and we would stock up in the Decleor face oils, gatineau Floracil, and Clarins products, as they were all much cheaper in France. The Decleor face oils were superb..…

30% off Elemis on their website, and a free gift if you spend over £120….

Yes! Like right now….
I just treated myself to 100mls of PCMC and a small cleansing balm. Got a free gift and discount of over £40. Plus free postage and two samples….

I succumbed, there’s 10% on this item at Top Cash Back (although it takes an age to pay out), my son gets 10% on his card so he paid for it & my Hubby is buying it for me for Christmas. Saves him having to think about what to get me.
TCB has tracked but not tracked at 10%, had to submit a cashback claim.

I always think if something is unbelievably cheap there has to be a reason. I'm not overly fussy about sell by dates on anything as long as the seller is completely upfront about what you're buying. I've eaten many an out of date packet of ham and I'm still alive (as is Bry because he gets tons of out of date food - out of date, not mouldy, maggoty or inedible).
