Free P&P

Funny how the OTT P&P is only ever brought to our attention when it's free.

In the SBC show AY has said several times that we're saving a fiver or whatever because there's "no package and postage" and how much each item is working out.

Normally they say how much each item in a set is working out but 'accidentally forget' to add on the P&P.

Why they can't just tell us how much we're going to be paying to get an order home is beyond me. The figures are there on the screen so I'm sure most of us are intelligent enough to work it out.

I had noticed the P&P is only a selling point when it suits them otherwise it's ignored; apart from Debbie Flint who does seem to mention it a bit.

What really gets me about the postage is you have to pay it for every item; you can't order more than one thing add it to a basket etc and just pay one postage charge.

QVC have to appreciate, I suspect, most people add the P&P to the cost and if it's still good value buy it otherwise don't. It's definitelly a money spinner for them, but it's been discussed here many times!

Yes they always make a big deal out of free p&p and how much you are saving!
