Is it just me !!!

I always thought July was Beauty Month, but if it is, they are keeping it very quiet this year and not really advertising the fact !!!

Maybe they have dropped its because everyone has complained in the last few years that there was nothing special in July as far as Beauty was concerned.
TBH I dont think we will miss it because there wasnt anything special anyway

Perhaps so we can actually get some beauty shows! I seem to remember the last couple of year the month of July, officially designated Beauty Month, seemed largely devoid of beauty shows - well there weren't as many as you'd imagine, anyway!

We did all moan last year about July beauty month. Now we are all moaning because there is no beauty month. QVC can't win can they!

Just looking at the schedule for Beauty Day, no new shows and it doesn't look very exciting. :think: I'll watch the Smashbox, Decleor, Elemis and Philosophy shows but thats about it.

I remember the Beauty month and the NYNY being great opportunities for supersize products / pampering treats and new ideas. I know that my ideas and interests have changed over the years, and running JBD clearly has an impact on that, but there doesn't seem anything here to get excited about any more.

Maybe we are all now too canny as internet shoppers - I know I would rather flirt about on line reading reviews and chasing new ideas and chatting to others than watching QVC presenters.

The exception to this are the guest presenters from Smashbox and BE and the other ranges - provided of course that they are allowed to demo the products effectively and are given time to speak and offer hints and tips and guidance.

I've learnt a lot from Alison (and I have also spent a lot too) but the attraction has waned considerably.

Yes it did sell out very very quickly.

They did repeat the same set but this one is a brand new one.

I've bought 2 different 10 piece boxed sets before and passed on the repeat TSV - I must have been on the ball to get the last one then

I think I might get 2 TSVs tonight and put one away for my Sister's birthday next month

I had one 10 piece set before the one last summer.

I said I wasn't going to buy this one but having seen pic, I am a little tempted. Just going to keep telling myself I won't be here to receive it so no point ordering!!!

I wish I had your willpower - For me, it's just too good a bargain to miss out on.

I'm working tonight til 11.30pm so will have to rush home in case it sells out quickly again as I want to order it online through Quidco :daisy:

I know Tabatha, I will be paying for my OPI Mods brights 2moz,but when Sazza put up the piccie I thought OMG I have got to have those, and My hubby said that it would make a nice xmas pressie for his niece or sister, so I says in that case I definately better have one because I know when hers comes I will want it!!!!LOL
