i only used the Friction Gentle Dermabrasion Exfoliatorfor a few times, which ended up in the bin. there is nothing gentle about it imo. it put me off the whole range.

description: sticky mud with volcanic rock.

Not at all, SS. My skin is not 'sensitive' in the traditional sense, but it is fine. The epidermis would always feel scratched and sore after use.

Hmmm, that would sadly make sense. Shame, I have some favourites from Origins.

I know!!! I really want to try the Modern Friction Gentle Dermabrasion Exfoliator which had reve reviews in last year's Green Beauty Bible... No body product there though, I was hoping to try some of their body creams... I guess we will have to wait and see if more stuff turns out as the show approaches...

I use self tan constantly and every so often I feel like a need a 'good scrub'. Whereas others irritate my skin, this never does. It really lifts all that you need it to without being harsh. I know what WaterSiren means though - it is really thick and sticky - it took me a while get used to using it and I can see why it wouldn't suit everyone.

It actually annoys me if this is the case as it seems that QVC is now the place to go to be ripped off on bankrupt stock! I hope that a lot of people follow the thinking of a member who posted on the Prescriptives site who said why bother buying the stuff now when it is to be discontinued.

For my part, there have been many times that I would have loved to try Origins but found the price on the High Street a bit steep. Remember testing Modern Friction once and finding that really sticky.

I use the A'Kin scrub and it is lovely! It does have grains, but is gentle and light gel consistency, not sticky. Has a very subtle, pleasant scent as well.

Korres Almond Meal scrub is fantastic if you have sensitive skin. It's the only one I've come across that my face can tolerate without going bright red.
