Please..Please God, don’t say that word again. The man with the upside down head selling 10 O’clock gin has said ‘absolutely’ at least four times in one minute. He has now said ‘relies’. This must mean immediate disembowelment without a general anaesthetic. Peter Andies fails to chastise him for serious crimes against the English language. No Dale this evening. He has a visibly nervous Chloe Tranmere to assist him. Calm down, Chloe. He is a bloke from a broom cupboard and a quiz show door knocker. You are equally as good, if not considerably better.

Sadly the word "yes" has all but disappeared. By using 'absolutely' its hoped they sound more intelligent, or the fact that 'absolutely' has four syllables as opposed to one for 'yes', so takes longer to say.

They should try saying 'ergo' or 'aide memoir' but they would'nt know what it meant.

Chloe was very ‘high’ in that show. Nerves ? Enthusiasm for the products ? Disrupted sleep with the new baby ? Too much coffee ?

Never seen her look so ill at ease. Surely not starstruck by Peter Andies? That‘s like Franz Klammer becoming nervous when he is near Eddie Edwards - other than for fear of him landing on his head, that is.

She often has bouts of being 'high' - even before her marriage she would be hyper on air. I have my thoughts, but couldn't possibly say.
