Any ideas, polish removers?

all the nail varnish removers are solvents, the only difference is between Acetone free and Acetone based solvent, but you can pay a lot of money for the added coour and fragrance.

On one of the nail shows the other day I think it was LD they said to remove glitter polish to wrap the pad with the remover on onto the nail with some tin foil. Wrap each one so this will hold the pad into the nail. Then by the time you get to the last one you can remove the first one and it should have soaked in enough to come straight off.

Don't know if it works as I don't wear glitter polish. But I know when I used to it was a pain to remove so never buy it now. Might be worth a try.

Yes, this does work though I don't bother with the foil. I do one hand at a time or it's too fiddly. Just wrap a bit of saturated cotton wool on the nails and leave it for a few minutes and wipe away.

I wish I knew about this tip for glitter polish last night!!! Trying to remove H&M glitter polish from my daughter's nails this morning before school wasn't fun!!! Apart from near scrubbing it off with a cotton wool pad soaked in remover (Superdrug one) - it didn't want to budge one bit!!!!!! Think that polish won't be used for a while - if ever again!!!

Thanks everyone! Boots in village ordered 1 bottle just for me. Felt so speshul, I did. Right now, suffering with headcold, so dopey, don't care about my nails! or anything for that matter ... coughing, spluttering and oh-so-testy Snarly. sniff, sniff, ah-choo!

200204 OPI is on now for nearly half a litre @£14.40 acetone free with Aloe Vera
The demo was very convincing taking off about 3 layers with one swipe after the soaked pad had been on the nail a few seconds I`ve never paid so much though ..can`t see it really either :-(

Just search for "ISOPROPANOL IPA Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% Pure" on Amazon. 1L for £6.99 delivered. It will remove anything sticky + nail varnish!

If you have big nails there is a 5L bottle for £21.99

I have a medication called proprananol. Will it make my nail varnish dissolve? LOL

I've only just got round to reading this thread, as it sounded racist, but it wasn't about what I thought.

For a long time, I used to pass a shop by bus that I thought specialised in selling polishes. It was called the polish shop.
