Mums on maternity leave make up a lot of QVC viewers. They would probably like the perfect handbag that doubles as a baby bag, and the best pram that converts from lie down to buggy, to tandem complete with car seat conversion. Q should do a deal with Babyjogger. I am serious. I paid hundreds for mine.

I was down in Brighton today and there was a woman walking along Sydney Street wearing a fur sort of - "thing." It think it's called a "stole." A young women was hurling abuse at her and she stopped, turned round and said: "It's dead, sweety, it's not in any pain!" and walked on! She came across as a snooty old b*tch!
