I read today that the original owner of Costa Coffee (an Italian - Mr Costa) brought his coffee 'recipe' from Italy in the early 1970s', in 1995 sold the company for 23 million to Whitbread, who in turn sold it in 2019 to Coca Cola for ................................... 3.9 BILLION !!!
