Gems.tv will be live every day from 4pm to 1am and will be the first Shopping Channel to both manufacture and distribute their exclusive range of gem stone jewellery. Just like on Snatch It we are able to work on tiny margins as we have cut out the Gem traders, Gem Wholesalers, Importers, Middlemen, Wholesalers, Agents and Distributors all of whom would usually take a cut before the product even hits traditional retailers.

You will be able to Snatch a vast range of gem set jewellery, with over 500 varieties of precious and semi-precious stones, delivered to your front door AT POSSIBLY THE LOWEST PRICES EVER SEEN! Gems.tv will adopt the Snatch It model whilst creating something fresh, exciting and new.

For the benefit of our customers every element will be internally controlled, measured and managed, to deliver and continue their legacy of ground breaking customer service. Directors Steve Bennett and Clive Bryant are once again the driving force behind the new venture and Gems.tv promises to be something very special for the shoppers at home. With an existing 98% Customer satisfaction record across three channels (taken from the month of September 2004), one of the many goals is to create the shortest product cycle in the history of Jewellery - Gems.tv aim to have 98.5% of jewellery in the hands of their customers within 11 days of being manufactured.

On top of delivering earth-shattering savings Gems.tv will bring a bunch of familiar faces to channel 663. The presenter line up includes Debby Cavill, Angeline Plummer, Caroline Lyndsay, Matt MacNamara and Theo van Dort.

Last week the whole Gems.tv team returned from a trip to our manufacturer in Thailand where they went through seven days of intensive training so you can Snatch your gemstone jewellery safe in the knowledge that the information you will hear comes from well trained, educated and informed presenters.

GEMS.TV LAUNCHED LIVE AT 4PM ON OCTOBER 8TH 2004 - SKY CHANNEL 663 - SEE YOU THERE!

Yeah whilst some of the designs were very bazaar and in odd combinations it was just a much better company back then when we had snatch-it as well

I stuck with Gems in the old days because the prices were great and it was indeed very entertaining, but on reflection some of the designs were truly AWFUL. I wouldn't want those back, and I can understand why Gems can't go back to the cheap prices either, but it would be good if we could have the full-on fun and entertainment back!

(By the way, has anyone else noticed that Rocks & Co - who usually have such great designs - seem to have bought some of the old Gems TV moulds from Thailand, and are replicating some of their crummy, cruddy designs?)

You are so right about those designs! I loved Gems and stuck with them too - through all those cloudy sapphire, ruby and emerald cluster rings. And the awful 2 carat pink tormaline/rubellite ring that was on every day.

Somehow you just knew they would grow and develop, leaving behind those dreadful american market designs.

Let's be honset - these guys set the jewellery market on fire and truly broke the old supply chain. Perhaps the Amazon of jewellery?
