CURSES!!!! I vowed no more candles now until 2017 (other than the AD drops I'm waiting for) but I reeeeeally want these - has anyone received these as part of the vineyard 3rd drop and if so, how do they smell? Am so taken by all of them so I know I'm going to crack and buy them, sigh...

Irish Cream. Cakey vanilla alert!!!!!! I just hope I can find a pair to calm it down or that it has a small throw.
Silver Birch. Fabulous as ever, really zingy wood notes.
Feliz Navidad. Very smokey, was Cosy by the Fire like that? Or Christmas Memories? Anyway it is like that rather than the more upbeat Happy Christmas or even Christmas Eve. (SO I am glad I got the Boots offer of that!)

Well if you like cakey vanilla, and so will not have a problem with Irish Cream, then it sounds good! Silver Birch is lovely, isn't it? I cannot smell any cinnamon in Feliz Navidad and don't think it has any, rather than being misled by my cold!!!

I lurve Silver Birch, one of my favourites...so of course YC will probably discontinue it that's sealed the deal if cinnamon doesn't dominate in Feliz Navidad, I'll wait until tomorrow though, just in case it's on EZ Pay or cheaper (one can hope). Thanks again!!!

I am very tempted by this set, too, really like the sound of all three. Not sure they are US specials, though, as definitely saw Nutcracker and Luscious Plum in the Yankee shop the other day, and possibly Winter Garden, too. Bought the Balsam and Cedar large jar, and got a free medium Verbena. Also got a pack of two medium festive candles I picked up cheap the other week, Cosy by the Fire and Snow in Love. Although, having used Snow in Love in my Scenterpiece the other day, I discovered I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, although the Scenterpiece does have a very powerful throw. So, that's 4 candles in all, and 3 more calling me! Does this constitute a stockpile? Is this how it starts? :mysmilie_13:

verbena is nice a fresh complex floral not like l'occitane verbena burning it as we speak love it

We have actually been discussing this in the Reasons Not to Shop at QVC section at the top of the QVC forum page, Carole, but thanks for posting this as some may have missed it there. Consensus is it's a great set and price. I bought it on Thursday. Did you go for it?

Nutcracker. Fabulous. Very like the old Happy Christmas, very fruity.
Luscious Plum. Still a bit cold but maybe a cross between Christmas Eve and Cranberry Ice. That neck of the woods but possibly not as strong as those two belters.
Winter Garden. Slightly pine, crisp outdoors scent. Did not pick up the peppermint they sometimes put in these though so just fresh fresh fresh.

A great set I think.

I got my set with Feliz Navidad etc yesterday and I LOVE it - the Feliz Navidad scent is lush, so clove-y and Christmassy, can't wait to burn it! As predicted, I lurve the Irish Cream one as well, hint of egg nog in there, will go perfectly with those Snowballs I'll be serving, heh heh heh

I feel a bit left out as since my debacle with the refusal to take my Amex card, I have not been buying from QVC. My choice, I know, and actually the last thing I need is more Yankee jars spilling out of the spare room. But I miss getting Yankees delivered and the excitement of opening up the boxes to try them. Fortunately, I was not too tempted by the latest TSV and the other sets either were outside my self-imposed price limit or included ones I had or didn't like. I bet if my card had been usable, I'd have bought something though! Meanwhile, I'm enjoying them all vicariously through you lot!

My second drop the WJ AD arrived out of the blue this morning! My iPad went out first thing so no new emails received until just now and the bell went at about the same time!!! So they are two months to the day late, so I wonder if they changed it to 120 days perhaps.

Anyhoo, they are here, yay!!! They are very, very cold but I can confirm that they are:
CHristmas in Paris, we had it before, pine. I found last Xmas this had a good throw.
Arctic Glacier, the usual fresh outdoorsy winter YC scent but no woodland notes. Closest I can say really is a softer version of sparkling snow
Spice Island Holiday, just like Home Sweet Home.

Of course they may change when they warm up but they are off to storage now. What a treat for a cold Saturday morning!

Just checked my account and the 4th delivery of the MArch USA AD collection is in process, so on schedule. It contains Bubbly Pomegranate, Christmas Thyme and Spiced White Cocoa.


By the way did anyone notice that the other AD collection, now on sale as a single item of Honey Clementine, Rhubarb Crumble and Autumn Nights was on for about £39.95 with a REDUCED postage of £2.95. So a good price, but I already got them!
