I have used the 50 face anti-pigmentation Ultrasun for years but still get new pigmentation spots, going to try some other high factor products this year instead.
I purchased this as a duo set last summer. Almost finished my second bottle but have increased pigmentation so will try another brand when this is gone.
I always buy Aldi for my holidays abroad and it works a treat. Oddly my daughter with eczema has always tolerated supermarket suntan lotions better than the branded ones. But I find it too slippy on my face for my make up which is why I bought a dedicated facial suncream.

Daughter tried La Roche Posay last year and got on really well with it so I may give that a try once my Ultrasun has gone.

I'm thinking of trying Aldis, they have had really good write ups last year apparently. I'm really put off buying much skin care at all from QVC at the moment. I totally dislike being misled as to time lines etc
I’ve used Alids sun cream for years and love it and it works for my skin type. Guaranteed the stock is fresh as they always sell out so it’s not on the shelves for long!
I burn easily and start to turn pink after 5-10 mins and happily reapply whenever I feel the need. I even tried their aerosol version last year which was great for little top ups when you don’t want to let the lotion all over your hands.

I’ve used Alids sun cream for years and love it and it works for my skin type. Guaranteed the stock is fresh as they always sell out so it’s not on the shelves for long!

Oops typo, should have read 'Aldi's sun cream' not Alids!

Not according to the blind tests they did of sun creams, I remember it being posted on here. Ultrasun did not do well, and quite a number of people saying they still burnt using it. No, doubt because bought from QVC and old stock. As far as I remember, one year is the max for keeping sun creams. It looses its effectiveness after this.
Ultrasun say longer, but I think that's for unopened. I did phone them once about the texture of one of my tubes & found them to be very helpful. They also told me the max storage dates which I can't fully remember.

Well I am out, there are no face formulas. Goodness I didn’t buy the Liz Earle TSV, I am not buying the Elemis one either. What is happening!
I'm the same. With regards to Elemis and Liz Earle for me I think their price point has increased quite a bit (but my household income hasn't) and I'm just seeing the same old goods being peddled out, nothing exciting that makes me want to forgive the boring bits to try out new products. Sadly the days of any sets being amazing value have long gone. The LE TSV was just the same old staples for me - C&P, toner & moisturiser.

It would be nice if they lowered the price point or added more/better items into the TSV because they're just not as tempting as they were - for me anyway.

Wasn't Calypso made in UK the winner? I'm sure it beat some really expensive ones.
I was rather surprised because it wasn't particularly expensive.
I think asda/aldi also did well?

Is that the aldi facial sunscreen. I've never been over & looked closely at the shelf.

You have hit the nail on the head, prices have increased substantially for the same boring products or configurations.

I purchased this as a duo set last summer. Almost finished my second bottle but have increased pigmentation so will try another brand when this is gone.

Daughter tried La Roche Posay last year and got on really well with it so I may give that a try once my Ultrasun has gone.
Ls Roche Posay was the one I thought of getting.I know I will not get rid of my pigmentation marks now @ 75! But am using Nivia Luminous Anti Dark Spot Serum & Day Fluid SPF 50 at the moment & I am starting to see an improvement.I got both from Boots for around £26, small sizes but that is half price. That was a couple of weeks ago don’t know if that offer is still on, may get some more.

Soltan is the best for me.
Used Nivea on my legs last summer in Gran Canaria and ended up with some kind of sunburn looking reaction .
Wouldn’t mind but I slapped it on.
Could feel it stinging a few hours later but presumed it was the chlorine in the outside jacuzzi .
Never again.

The only dedicated facial sunscreen I've used is the Ultrasun Anti pigmentation SPF 50. Ironically I have more pigmentation than when I started to use it! I don't think Aldi do a specific facial sunscreen, or at least I've never seen one but their main lotion is my go to for the rest of my body and always take it on holiday.

I think we've been led believe that more expensive is best in a lot of things, but more expensive doesn't always mean better (obvs it does sometimes though :)) Aldi's sunscreen UVB rating is 5* some of the big brand names were only 3* or 4* when I looked last year.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll keep an eye out for the Nivea Serum and give it a go when it's on offer. I only have a few on one side of my forehead after years of not wearing sun screen daily.

I think my daughter got the La Roche Posay from Boots last year when it was on offer, could have been a £10 Tuesday.

I watched a bit on mute and it was fascinating. Abbi’s hands don’t stop for a second. She veers between some sort of sign language to a piano concerto to conducting the orchestra to having a medical problem involving clawed staccato finger movements. All very urgent.

I have purchased expensive sun creams in the past and the best I‘ve found are Calypso & Malibu Miracle Tan, at a fraction of the price.
