If your credit card is coming to the end of its expiry date but you’ve been issued with an updated one, same number etc but just new expiry date, do you have to delete that card on the website & enter the new one as a new card? I can’t find anywhere where it says to just renew the expiry date.

I have always reinput them as new cards. You will probably have a different 3 digit number on the back as well as a new expiry date.

Yes, it is always a good idea to actually call CS and tell them. Some years back my card expired and put the next expiry day etc in, I had an easy pay at the time and thought all was well. No. I got an email saying my easy pay had failed and contact them, The CS person I spoke to said to call them as well and give new details
