I have made a decision based purely on the pre and post op stress I would be under. When the cardiologist phones me on 7th June I am going to tell him I don’t want surgery. I will take my chances maybe for another year and see how things transpire. I just can’t put myself through it, I have read a lot more on the hispitals own site and watched their youtube video. I don’t want to do it. I am pretty sure if I had relatives I might feel differently!

It hasn’t been easy but I think I will stick to this decisio.

Why not discuss it with him/her and explain your fears. He might be able to put things in perspective for you re short term anxiety vs potential gains. Do you have all the information you need to make your decision? You’re clearly agonising over this and need some support. I understand your dread but your health is everything. Not trying to preach, just concerned.
