QVC advertising on commercial radio

I've just heard an advert for QVC on the radio - I've never known them do this before? Or have I just missed it? It was on Simon Mayo's show on Greatest Hits radio.

I heard it earlier this week as well. Can‘t remember what I was listening to but it wouldn’t have been Greatest Hits. Wasn’t there a tv ad a year or so ago?

Clearly haemorrhaging viewers if resorting to radio ads. It will be full page ads in the dailies next.

They used to advertise in The Mail on Sunday and the magazine as well, a few years back.

I will say radio advertising is much cheaper than doing TV. Just imagine in-between the endless ads for bingo, QVC ads.

They'd do better by spending all this advertising money on updating their archaic systems & concentrating on winning back customers who have already left IMO with:-

Free returns
Quicker refunds
Combined (or free) postage
Stop sending out returned items &
Accurate descriptions on the website

because any new shoppers will probably leave after one or two purchases anyway when they realise that Q are still behind the times when compared to most other retailers in the country.
