Qwality Diamoneek costume bling just like top list 'slebs wear.

But as a poppy? clever marketing, shrewd merchandising or just taking the pass?

Seen it a all now, this from a company that couldn't even honour the silence for the 7/7, yet can roll out the Poppy in Diamonbleek no less to bump up their profits...........never have I been so pleased that QVC doesn't get a penny from me.

The actual design of the poppy looks identical to the buckley...

... and I wonder if there is any endorsement by the Royal British Legion on the DMQ pieces - or a contribution to their work? I'll stick to buying my poppy items from the suppliers who are endorsed by, and contribute funds to, the RBL.

I won`t entertain any of their supposed Charity items or events. I`ll buy my poppy from the British Legion as I usually do and I`ll make a cancer Charity of my choice either by putting money into their collection tin or buying from one of their shops.

I prefer to buy my poppy direct from the Royal British Legion's website, then I know the score with regards to the proceeds.

There used to be a local woman who came round here door to door selling poppies, I bought from her.

I don't bother with the bling poppies, now just throw a few pounds in the ones selling in shops and lift a poppy.

I have a Buckley one (which I bought from Q because the British Legion's website played up) which rolls a bit on the lapel but last year bought the Legion's wreath pin which is still available this year at £5.99. Because it has a horizontal pin it stays in place and looks smashing. It was delivered very quickly too.

I have a Thomas Sabo bracelet so one year I bought the clip on poppy charm from the British Legion site. It isnt silver, just plated but wore well.
I notice so far this year they don`t have them on the website, pity because I would have bought another to replace the one I already have.

If I understand it correctly, Butler and Wilson are also doing a range of poppies in aid of the RBL this year.

it's not only Diamonique cashing in on the poppies either...

B&W items are not supporting RBL. The Kipling is, but I want to know what the contribution to the RBL is :mysmilie_10:

Apologies B & W they are not. I was certain it had said it on one of the listings on QVC. The actual listing does not now, of course, say this, but the little 'snatch' on the search results does say this so I assume QVC have recently corrected this.
