I think that was one of the high end luxury watches that were reduced from £1000 to a bargain 50p.

They had a choice.
they are batteries no one has a watch they fit « discontinued in 1980 »
the choice was bin them or stick them in the box

It’s baffling really the guy who probably is the best presenter IW have had in its last 2 incarnations always gets put on at the 10pm to 2am shift, maybe Rob perfers working that shift.
