Returning heavy items

After trialling a Bose music system, we've decided it's not for us, (found something better..) so now need to return it. I've never had to return a heavy item before, can anyone tell me what happens? I know I have to phone up but what will they want me to do with it? I'd much rather send it back Special Delivery but is that wise?

Hi Nessarose - Call CS and I think they will arrange pick up (usually Parcelnet) as its a heavy item HTH

I've only ever had to return one "Heavy item" and that was a featherbed.I just phoned QVC and they told me that a courier would pick it up within 7 working days at no cost to me.I was quite happy with that and just left it parceled up in my porch.Obviously thats not something you want to be doing with such an expensive item.I suppose you could send it back how you wish,but obviously that would be at cost to you.

Give them a ring and see what they suggest.

You will get a receipt from the courier when they pick it up so it should be ok
